St. Paul Lutheran Church’s introduces Ben Roberts, Associate Pastor

St. Paul Lutheran Church’s new associate pastor, Ben Roberts, looks forward to reaching out to families in Trenton and the greater Downriver community.

Roberts supports Senior Pastor Rick Blythe and works with various groups and church officials to attract people to St. Paul. He equips people for reaching out in their neighbor-hoods and within their relationships “in the name of Jesus.”

“My passion is to bring the good news of Jesus to people who might not know him and are definitely not necessarily connected to the church.”

After joining the staff at St. Paul in early September, Roberts and his wife, Melissa, daughter Grace, and son Owen, are still getting settled in at their new home in Trenton. He credits the “fantastic staff” and supportive church members with easing his transition after moving from the LaGrange, IL.

“They are very caring people. Everyone has been super supportive and nice during our time here. I’m looking forward to a long, fruitful ministry here in the Downriver area,” Roberts said. ◆
